I was interested to read your recent article on plane spotting. I live in the flight path of the Phoenix Sky Harbor (yes, we don't have an airport, we have a Sky Harbor), and enjoy watching airplanes fly in from my porch. Now that I can get it on the Internet, I can even listen to the air traffic control through my computer piped out to my porch.I've never gone out to the edge of the runway, (I've thought about it, but fear of police have kept me away, especially since 9/11)But I wanted to tell you about a new video I just got in the mail. It's from a company called justplanes.com. It is a 3 hour DVD of nothing airplanes taking off and landing. They are a tad expensive, but worth it, espically for armchair planespotters like myself. I found myself cheering when America West (our local airline) would land, and booing at other airlines, I wont mention here. http://www.justplanes.com/us51.html
Either way, this is the best DVD I own now... and I think most of your readers would enjoy it.
