Dull Men's Club - Celebrating the Ordinary

Where dull men – and women who appreciate
dull men – share thoughts and experiences about ordinary things

We don't get out much
It's OK to be dull
No matter where you go, there you are
Born to be mild
We're giving a good name to a four-letter word
We don't try to keep up with the Joneses (who are the Jonses, anyway?)
Go for glitz and glam?  Why?

giant onion

Here is some dull news from Harrogate, Yorkshire, about prize-winning giant vegetables.

The onion in the picture weighs 18 pounds – or as much as two reasonably-sized babies.

Dear Steve

Wow. This is interesting. Extreme Gardening.

It's certainly fitting that this artcie comes from the Anorak. [Note to American readers: In the U.K., the word "anorak" is sometimes used to describe a dull person.]

We've heard about Extreme Sports, most of which are much to exciting for us. Even Extreme Ironing — where participants hike up to mount tops to do their ironing — is too much for us.

But growing giant vegetable. That should be OK.

Thanks for sending this to us.
