Breaking news in UK: Pylons to be removed

Controversal?

£500 million [$775 million] . . . aren’t there better uses for the funds? . . . how about cycle paths?

We wonder what the Pylon Appreciation Society has to say about this?

Such a waste of money besides which, I think transmission towers are things of beauty. The remind me of man’s ability to generate electricity.
