Are you surprised to see rhubarb and intercourse in the same sentence? We were. But there’s no other way to describe this festival since it celebrates rubarb and takes place in Intercourse, a town in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish Country — a celebration of rhubarb that began 33 years ago.
Featured attractions will be a Rhubarb Dessert Baking Contest, Rhubarb Whoopee Pie Filling Contest, and Rhubarb Stroll — mini parade — of people in appropriate costumes:
