Today is Natiional (USA) Ice Cream Day

USA Today: “Where to get free ice cream on National Ice Cream Day, an article in USA Today, lists 30 companies offering free ice cream, including Carvel, Baskins-Robbins, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s.

Ice Cream Day became a national holiday in 1984 when President Reagan declared the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream Day and the month of July as National Ice Cream Month.
